Microsoft Laboratory (also known as the Artificial Intelligence and Internet of Things Laboratory) was officially established in Shanghai Zhangjiang as an innovation project of Microsoft headquarters. Over the past two and a half years, Microsoft Laboratory has played a bridging role, verifying cutting-edge technologies and providing technical empowerment to hundreds of enterprises nationwide based on Microsoft Azure AI and IoT product portfolios. Through ecological docking, it has accelerated the promotion of solutions from participating enterprises to the market.

As a gold partner of Microsoft and a leader in the field of intelligent office, Wafer Systems hopes to leverage Microsoft Cloud's IoT, digital twinning, and AI technologies to integrate with existing traditional headquarters building applications and management systems, creating a smart space management solution.

During the joining process, laboratory engineers, Microsoft experts in IoT solutions, and Wafer Systems's technical team worked together to review the existing system, design, and implement concept validation for integration solutions. They utilized Microsoft open-source tools to create a prototype of Wafer Systems's own energy management digital twinning system and explored energy consumption prediction for HVAC and power based on Microsoft machine learning technology, achieving energy-saving and emission-reduction solutions.

With full support from Microsoft experts and laboratory engineers, Wafer Systems's new generation of space management and facility management solutions for buildings and parks have been accelerated to implementation. Through the integration of existing solutions with Microsoft AIoT services, nearly a month of technical research and subsequent implementation costs have been saved.
